Conectar is a bilingual podcast created by young Latin-American youth growing up in New Orleans East that all came together at Schaumburg Elementary School. This podcast is a collection of narratives that will take you back to their fondest memories of home, and their journey into the United States, and peer into moments of self-reflection as they come into their own and adjust to New Orleans culture. It was created so we could CONECTAR and give students a space to celebrate themselves: talk about their families, and traditions, and educate others about their culture.

Conectar es un podcast bilingue creado por jóvenes latinoamericanos que crecieron en el este de Nueva Orleans y que se reunieron en la Escuela Primaria Schaumburg. Este podcast es una colección de narraciones que lo llevarán de regreso a sus mejores recuerdos de su pais y su viaje a los Estados Unidos. Tambien observará momentos de autorreflexión a medida que se vuelven independientes y se adaptan a la cultura de Nueva Orleans. Fue creado para que pudiéramos CONECTAR y brindar a los estudiantes un espacio para celebrarse a sí mismos: hablar sobre sus familias y tradiciones, y educar a otros sobre su cultura.
